Summer Camps

July-August 2021 Enrolling Now!

*NEW LOCATION*  This summer has given us the exciting new opportunity to use space at Riverstone International School (5521 E Warm Springs Ave), next door to our Ampthitheater and Reserve off Warm Springs Avenue! Along with more space, we will have outdoor classrooms and classrooms with better ventilation to ensure we can make our camps as safe as possible!

There will be a marked drop off/pickup zone where parents can pull up to. Start at the outdoor check in table on the first day!

We look forward to a summer full of fun and safe drama (the good kind)!

Parent Information

Arrival and Departure
The teachers will be at the drop off/pick up zone before and after class. It is very important that you pick up your student ON TIME. We are sorry, but we do not have child care available for after class times.

Water & Snacks
Please send a water bottle with your student. Acting is thirsty work! If your child needs to have a snack, feel free to send something small and easy for him or her to handle.

Clothing
Short skirts, bare middles, tight clothing — no fun! If the student is afraid of something showing, all that creativity will go right out the window. Please have your student wear loose, easy-going clothing! It’s time to play and have fun!

Observing
We have found that students participate more fully and are more focused when loved ones are not present. If you would like, you may stay for the first 20 minutes of their first class, but if you stay you will have to play! We will take good care of your children and you are invited to see all the wonderful work they’ve done at their final performance. If there are special circumstances please contact our education manager, veronica@idahoshakespeare.org.

Discipline
It’s all about play and we want all our students to have lots of fun & enjoy the creative experience! So if a student becomes disruptive instead of joining in — we just use the “time out” method & invite the student to rejoin the group when they’re ready. However, if behavior becomes an issue, we’ll contact you to help us.

*Should we come to the unfortunate event where a camp is canceled, your camp registration can be used for a later camp. If your camper is unable to attend a later camp, you also may donate it back to ISF, in support of our future educational offerings. As a nonprofit charitable organization, the Festival exists in large measure because of the community’s generosity; and you would join thousands (including many of you already) in making a gift to sustain the company and its educational programs. We would, of course, be thrilled to recognize your gift; and you would receive a confirmation letter, allowing you to consider this gift among your tax deductions. If neither rebooking to a later camp or donation are possible, we happily will issue a refund, and hope to see your student again when times are better.
