This year’s Idaho Theater for Youth offering is a thrilling modern adaptation of the beloved classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This new piece is being written specifically for this new virtual format, and for these times. Students will become one of the characters and serve an integral role in this story. Students will engage thoroughly and participate in various STEAM based activities during the video performance. Whether students are doing in-person or virtual learning, this is an experience all involved will enjoy. A link to a private video will be sent, along with a viewing guide, on March 29th. At a time where the word ‘home’ has taken on many meanings, students will explore what ‘home’ really means to them.

Idaho Theater for Youth 2021 will be released on March 29th and available to view until May 31st. Your school’s contact will receive a private video link to share with teachers, along with a viewing guide.
